Background
The idea for a comic based on Life on Mars was inspired by
this self portrait created by Yayster and posted to the General Art thread at The Railway Arms. Blanca suggested she try drawing Sam and Gene, which resulted in
this cartoon, with words by Clarey, another staff member on the board. Blanca then supplied the story for
the first comic and the rest is history.
The two are currently developing an idea for an original comic strip featuring original characters and a style similar to the Life on Mars strips.
